PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

Silenx's Effixio is very visually striking with its matte aluminum base, chrome mounting plate, copper heatpipes (five of ‘em) and polished aluminum fins. The fins are folded on the edges to keep the airflow moving through…

…the aggressively shaped fins and the double chevron arrangement of heatpipes. All the fins have a dimpled finish to, I assume, improve turbulence and heat dissipation. The small slotted holes near the corners accept the fan mounts and there's a small arrow in one of the corners for…uhhh…I don't know.

As you can see, the mounting plate comes pre-installed on the cooler and will support all the listed sockets with the exception of AM3. For these boards, the user will have to break out a screwdriver and add tow tabs to the existing mount. The top of the aluminum baseplate features a fin array to aid in cooling performance.
