PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Ah, how times have changed since the howling copper monsters graced the testbed of Tweaknews.net. When overclocking formally sprouted its fledgling wings with the release of the AMD Duron 650, cooling was the key to keeping the 1.85+ core voltages from frying your new processor.

Copper was the material of choice and your fan, well......... let's just say the louder, the more powerful, the better. Every overclocker wanted bigger, faster, more powerful and every possible heatsink manufacturer was pumping out the latest and greatest beast to keep everyone cool. But as every fad in the world, it died just as fast as it had grown. People just could not take the noise anymore. (I lost a girlfriend due to the noise of my computer.......HEHE)

Quiet cooling was born. Not only did people want the same efficient cooling, but demanded sound levels at a mere fraction of its predecessors.

Today I will be reviewing a sample of one of the quietest processor coolers on the market today. With fan speed selection, good cooling, excellent price and good looks, this might be a capable choice for your next cooling upgrade.

Let's see how it performs........
