PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH (cont'd)
A sharp tug on the bottom of the front panel pops it off the chassis, revealing the front 120mm intake fan (swappable for a 140mm unit, if desired.) All of the I/O wiring is attached to the front panel, so a bit of caution should be exercised here to avoid any damage. As you can see, there are really only three 5.25-inch bays available as the I/O panel takes up the top bay. That about does it for the exterior, so let’s crack the case open and see what Sentey has in store for us on the inside.
With the side panel off, we can get a look at the 180mm side fan, mounted on the inside of the panel. Mounted near the center, the fan will benefit both CPU and graphics cooling performance, but may interfere with some taller tower CPU coolers. As with the other fans in the case, the fantail is quite long and is terminated in a 4-pin Molex pass-through connector. This allows all the fans to be connected to the fan speed controller on the front panel, but there are no adapters provided to connect the fans to motherboard headers.
Inside, the red tool free features look good against the matte-black interior finish, but without a side window, this look will go unnoticed. The motherboard tray features a cutout for CPU cooler swaps and a few others for cable management.
At the top of the case are a pair of 120mm exhaust fans, one with blue LEDs and one without. The specs list the top LED fan as a 140mm unit, but this one is clearly 120mm. All seven expansion bays get tool free clips for card installation, and they should prove adequate for most installations, but the clips are removable and screws can be used to secure the cards in the conventional manner. Bay covers are of the breakout variety and are non-replaceable, but Sentey includes a single cover in the accessory package.
The other tool free features are pretty well executed and the aluminum drive trays will support either 3.5 or 2.5-inch drives. Although the ODD drive clips are only provided for one side of the cage, they are easily manipulated and should give adequate service.
