So what do you exactly get for US$300 - $320 when you purchase Sapphire's reference based version of the HD 6950 performance videocard.
Sapphire supplied the usual driver CD, a basic user's manual, case sticker and some promotional paperwork. What I found odd was that there wasn't any sort of included game.
The hardware kit was complete with a crossfire bridge, a DVI-VGA adapter, two power supply 6 pin adapters, an HDMI cable and a mini-Displayport to standard Displayport adapter. Needless to say, this is quick a hardware kit. Never have I seen an HDMI and a Displayport cable included with a graphics card to date. Let's hope it is a starting trend.
And finally you dig out the Sapphire HD 6950. As you see above, it comes complete with AMD's stock reference cooler which should be able to keep this card relatively cool during most testing and gaming environments. the one thing to note is this is a very large card and you should do your research to see if this card will fit in your current case properly. Also note, with the size, you get the heft as well so if this is going to be installed in a LAN gaming case, make sure it is supported for safe transportation.
