CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS

Well, what can I say, is it a good drive? YES. Is it quiet? OH HELL YEA!

Even though I tested a 40Gb version in this review, Samsung has released somewhat larger versions of 80Gb in 7200 and 5400rpm flavors for your liking. At first, I was skeptical as to how samsung could burst out of nowhere and produce a top-quality drive. But, they done that and more. Incorporating all there trademarked engineering tweaks into the mix has applied a thick layer of icing to the cake and has polished off yet another great product. I just can't wait until they release a ATA-133 drive or even better an ATA-150.

Pro's:

- Quiet, Quiet, Quiet!!
- Shock Suppression Technology
- Great Performance
- Check your local stores for Good prices too.

Con's:

- Ummmm, I use this drive in my everyday computer without a hitch, so, I haven't found any to date.
