SAMSUNG UN55C6500 LED TV INTRODUCTION
With Samsung's release of their LED line of LED backlit LCD TVs last year, the industry took a forced step forward to try and compete with Samsung's energy efficient and incredibly thin line of televisions. Now after a year to shake out all the bugs and deficiencies, Samsung is again trying to further their LED line and try and make them even better. Even though the UN55B8000 LED model I reviewed previously was thin, this model is even thinner with an addition 0.1 inches (now 1.1 inches) being shaved off to make this TV as thin as it can be. But along with the size reduction, Samsung is also trying to lower this TV's overall energy usage and make it as efficient as possible in order to be below some of the limits now being set by certain countries.
This TV aims to please and has all the features that make up a fantastic product and through several months of real world testing I put this display through everything it would see in your livingroom environment in order to squeeze out any weaknesses. Let's see how it faired.
