PRODUCT PICTORIAL & WALKTHROUGH (cont'd)

On the right side of the display you have two USB connections where one is setup for pass through to your computer and the other is used to connection a media storage device where you can utilize the TVs built in media player (AllShare) to view content directly without the need of an external computer. This comes in handy for viewing any sort of video/movie downloaded to a flash drive or external NAS.

The connection panel is where things differ from your standard LED monitor. The connections on the SyncMaster T27B750 are complete with basically every type of connection needed for TV or computer monitor purposes. The one thing I found missing was a digital DVI connection or an included DVI-HDMI dongle. This in my opinion is a grave oversight. The most common connection for today's computer is still through a digital DVI connection and luckily I had a dongle kicking around the office so I could complete this review without having to make an additional purchase or install a different videocard with native HDMI support.
But with that being said, it does have a hardwire LAN connection if you do not want to take advantage of its' integrated WIFI capability. With full WIFI support, this TV's SmartHub functionality simply put brings this product up to a whole other level. Not only can you update the display's firmware over the internet, you can also take advantage of such programs like Internet Browsing, Youtube and Netflix without any other device connected. After viewing this connection panel you can see that this product is more a HDTV with PC functionality rather than vise versa. This can be a pro or con depending on the different applications of this product in different environments.
