Let's take a virtual walk around your potential new purchase.
With such a large monitor complete with a rather unique single hinge base, stability is key to not having this monitor become a part of the surrounding floor if brushed by accident while passing by your desktop. Thankfully, stability is not a real issue and the base is weighted perfectly to not be overly bulky while still being planted firmly where it is installed.
With such a simple design, the movement capability is limited to ~30degrees. In most cases this won't be an issue seeing most users will set this display to be viewed directly from the front.
With the LED backlight's low heat output and external power supply, the rear of the monitor still comes complete with cooling vents for air circulation. One thing to note is that with the added functionality will be added heat from the additional hardware packed into a device. Thankfully, even after hours of use, this monitor still stays cool to the touch.
The touch sensitive menu control buttons are incorporated into the right portion of the monitor's gloss black lower bezel. Although they function very well, they can tend to be a little hard to read do to reflections in the glossy surface. From the left and moving right, you have the Video Source, Menu, Volume/Navigation (left/right), Channel/Navigation (Up,Down) and your power button.
Although it takes a while to figure out the function of each button, it is easily picked up within a couple of minutes. Take a look at your owner's manual if you need any information on what each menu setting entails.
