A;; that needs to be done is to place the mount into the base and then flip over the base and tighten them together with the incorporated screw mechanism.

You then slip the monitor's rubber socket over the ball of the mount and push down to couple them together. This is a view from behind the monitor seeing the front will have a arrow so you can install it the right way. Basically it is a painless install, yet it was a little confusing and you will have to check out the quick setup guide for help. Just make sure you never turn the monitor upside down hanging from the base or it is guaranteed the monitor will come uncoupled and be damaged when it hits the desktop or the floor. I know it is a no-brainer, but I just wanted to cover all the bases.

 

 

 

 

 

Once finally assembled you will have this glossy black monitor is perch on your desktop. Now when i say glossy, I really mean it. Everything on this monitor is glossy. The screen, the frame, the base, the mount, the back, well you get the point. But one thing you will notice is that this monitor is remarkably lightweight for a 22" widescreen LCD monitor. It takes no effort at all to pick up and move around when needed. I remember even a year ago when a 20 inch LCD monitor would weight almost twice as much. Most of the weight reduction can be attributed to the monitor base and mounting system which is fairly simple and not very material intensive.
