At the time of this review release, the Syncmaster 2232GW is a rare find in any retail channel more than likely due to it not being released onto the market in full force. From what sources I have been able to find for pricing, the 2232GW initially should be selling in the US$350-$400 range which in all honesty is not bad for a higher end full 22" widescreen LCD monitor. For your money, you will receive the following.
First you will get a small package containing all the necessary setup paperwork, warranty registration and the software and driver CD. Make sure you register your monitor so you can take advantage of your warranty. But as I have noticed, you won't be needing it. I have yet to have one single Samsung monitor even give me a dead pixel yet.
All necessary cables are included. From left to right you have a standard VGA video cable, a digitial DVI video cable and last the main power cord. The power supply is completely internal so you will be able to plug the monitor directly into the wall.
The base has to be assembled and is broken apart to enable Samsung to pack this monitor into a smaller shipping box.
