SAMSUNG PN58B650 58 INCH PLASMA TV INTRODUCTION

Just to be clear, the Samsung PN58B650 Plasma is a VERY LARGE TV and thus, you should prepare yourself for the following. You will need a large TV stand to park this livingroom behemoth. You will need manly men to lift it into place. You will need to set money aside for increased power consumption. And last of all, you will have to get some beer and junk food and prepare thyself for an epic viewing experience.
Through testing the more expensive Samsung PN58B850 (reviewed HERE) a short while ago, I fell in love with the smooth video playback, great black-levels, fantastic color reproduction and lower quality signal upscaling. The only thing holding it back was its price seeing it was one of the thinnest profile plasma TVs on the market. what the PN58B650 does is not worry about the thinner profile, gives you everything else and slashes US$500+ off of the pricetag. Sound like a good deal?
So my job here is to test this lower cost 650 series version of Samsung's Plasma line against the 850 series it replaced and see if I will be missing anything other than bragging about its profile.
