PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH & PICTORIAL
Let's take a virtual walk around the TV to point out some of its external features.
Just to start things off, I wanted to get a closer shot of the red "ToC" included with this TV. In brighter light it is noticeable but at night or in a darker room, you won't even notice it. I personally like it and it fits into our livingroom quite nicely.
The glossy black base allows the TV to swivel about 15-20 degrees left and right for fine tuning your viewing angle. Will you be rotating it? Not really seeing the viewing angle for a plasma is practically 180 degrees.
Housed with the lower section of the panel frame is the down-firing 10Wx2 integrated speakers. samsung tries to state that this is some sort of perk, but I prefer my speakers facing forward. But regardless, they do sound ok, but won't be challenging a good home theater system. they get the job done and nothing more.
Housed in the right hand side of the panel frame is a integrated touch sensitive control panel with audible feedback where you can change channel, access the menu, change the video signal source, raise or lower the volume as well and power down the unit. I personally would have liked to have seen some sort of outline of where the exact keys are seeing in anything but a brightly lit room, you fumble around to hit the right key like a blind man. But I guess Samsung's engineers were trying to keep then as inconspicuous as possible.
