Turning around to the back, other than the video, sound and power connections you have the heat ventilation openings and the two main speakers.

The two 10watt TruSurround XT capable speaker do provide acceptable sound for most viewing situation but it is no replacement for a full home theater system. Most time these speakers will be muted to make way for your true sound source. But to be realistic, they aren't that bad at all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WISELINK WALKTHROUGH

Now this is a feature I discovered lately which I absolutely love. Samsung's Wiselink capability allows the user to use their large TV for other uses other than your standard TV tasks.

All you need is a USB2.0 thumbdrive and you can load it up with as many JPEG photos and pictures along with any MP3 songs and you have yourself an interesting presentation tool. All you do is connect the thumbdrive to the side Wiselink connection, press the Wiselink button on the remote control and you are met with the display above.

Once you have entered that, you can choose whether you want to view your photos or listen to your music. You can also setup an automated slideshow with background music. Or if you are like me, you can view them one at a time and control the photo progression through the remote control arrow keypad. It turns this TV into an excellent display for showing photos to guests. But there is another use as well.
