PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH & PICTORIAL

Let's take a walk around and take a look at your potential new Blu-ray player.

Starting at the front and moving our way back, the left front of the player is kept simple and uncluttered with only the disc tray, disc tray open/close button and the main power switch being exposed. Although it may look like that is it for this area, this player has a hidden ace up its sleeve.

If you flip the lower metal panel down, you will gain access to the hidden memory card reader. This feature can be used for viewing photos directly through the player onto your HD display. The two slots on the BD-P1000 accept virtually every popular memory card format-Multi Media card, Secure Digital card, Compact Flash and Micro Drive directly, as well as Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Pro Duo, RS MMC and Mini SD with an adapter.

The right side of the front panel is comprised of a TV out select button plus the main front controls. the TV out selects which output you will be using whether it being the HDMI, component, composite or S-Video. The front controls are simple as the photo above illustrates and glows a pleasant blue color when the unit is powered on.
