SAMSUNG BD-C6900 3D BLU-RAY PLAYER INTRODUCTION
With Blu-Ray technology the standard for enhanced home theater enjoyment, Blu-Ray players have thankfully come down in price and rendered the standard DVD player technically a fossil. Every two to three months, I get a friend/relative asking what Blu-ray player they should be considering. I have yet to have someone ask what DVD player they should choose. Through the past three years, Blu-Ray players have been getting cheaper, easier to find and pack more and more features to draw consumers to pick a certain manufacturer's offering.
Today's review of Samsung's BD-C6900 3D Blu-Ray player is not exactly the product you would target a penny-pinching home theater consumer to buy. It's native 3D playback is only for the buyer that has a TV to match and would be a waste if you are not interested in that type of functionality. But not only is it one of Samsung's top models at the time of this review, top rate playback and 3D capability is only scratching the surface. With integrated WIFI, Samsung Apps, DIVX movie playback, Blu-Ray Live, photo viewing, CD playback along with upconverting your regular DVDs to 1080p, the BD-C6900 is the model to consider if you want a little of every type of functionality in one purchase.
