PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH & PICTORIAL
This is a very simple monitor with limited bells and whistles so this walk around this product will be shorter than usual. Don't get me wrong, it is still packed full of features as you have seen in the specifications section.
Moving from the bottom up you will have a standard round base which doesn't have a rotational mechanism. Although smaller than some bases i have seen, it is very stable and won't allow the monitor to easily tip over.
Moving up you will note that this monitor has a very thin bezel measuring in at just over a half of an inch. With the lower right bezel is the monitor's control buttons. From left to right you have the Menu button which allows for easy access to the menu along with the menu navigation buttons which also serve as the MagicBright quick configuration buttons when the monitor is not in menu mode. The other buttons are made up of the the initialize, Auto-configure and the power button. Everything is simple and straight forward.
If you are using the analog connection, just install the drivers, restart the computer and then hit the AUTO button to have the monitor auto adjust for perfect clarity. This option is not available in digital mode.
When you press the MagicBright button you will be able to change the display contrast and brightness to your liking. You can experiment to find out what works for you. I personally like a bright display so the Game setting it what I usually use.
Although it is not touted as being a thin profile monitor, it is remarkably thing for a widescreen flat panel monitor. The other all profile of the panel itself is just over two inches which is a shadow compared to the old CRT monitors that people are replacing. This monitor takes up negligible space on your desk.
