PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH & PICTORIAL

Let's take a virtual walk around the TV to point out some of its external features.

The one external feature I want to point out is the overall simplicity of the external design. No flashy colors, no fancy labels other than the Samsung branding, just simple black glossy aesthetics with no flash. The blue power LED is immediately under the Samsung front label and the menu and function keys are almost undetectable unless you look closely and include your usual navigation and function buttons if you lose your remote but still want to change some settings. But most of the time you will be using the universal remote.

As mentioned earlier, seeing this is a rather large LCD TV, stability and safety are key especially if you have a toddler or infant in your household. This model is very stable and would take a considerable push to tip it over. But sadly, there is no rotational mechanism in the base to allow for rotation without having to lift the whole TV.

Contained within the left side of the TV housing is a connection panel which houses one of four HDMI connections along with a Wiselink Pro USB connection for external digital media along with your usual legacy video and audio and headphone ports.

In addition to the side connection panel, you have a rear connection panel that should serve to cover any input need you would require. Not only does it have two component inputs, it has three more additional HDMI inputs as well to bring the tally up to four. This in additional to an PC input and a direct optical output and a LAN connection for firmware upgrades and you have a complete connection choice selection. There is no way anyone could find a fault with the selection.

Turning around to the rear of the unit you have the same piano gloss finish. Within the back is the two 15 watt speakers, the ample ventilation along with the four mounting points for wall mounting. Other than that, the back is as simple as the front.
