As in any review, a good pictorial is in order..

With the initial opening of the box, you will be confronted with a good packaging job on Samsung's behalf to protect the delicate TFT and your investment.

As with any product, you receive the warranty registration card, the manual, the Driver and Software CD and the power cord.

Also included is the optional monitor that comes with the powercord =). What a beautiful monitor. Modern looks coupled with modern technology. It was nice to see that Samsung pushed away from the bland ivory colours that the earlier models of the 760v had. The new silver on black colour scheme really sharpens up the product. Now, I know that some people out there are rolling their eyes and saying "WHO CARES ABOUT THE COLOURS!!". Well, when you sink $700US into a computer peripheral, everything counts to make your investment worthwhile.

What features does this monitor bring to my desktop? Well, I'm glad you asked....

This monitor will bring you a full 17 inches of crystal clear viewable area.

A very small desktop footprint to free up some valuable working space.

This monitor comes with the standard Analog VGA connector to comply with everyone's videocard.

The menu buttons are very easily accessible and allow you to control every aspect of the monitor.

And for those energy efficient companies out there, this monitor is tested to comply with the TCO energy efficiency requirements. Now, as said before in the 15" TFT review, this monitor will in essence paying for itself in roughly 4 years with the savings you will receive from the drastic reduction in power consumption when compared to an equivalent CRT monitor. After the monitor is paid for, the rest is a financial bonus for the consumer and a welcomed reduction in your family and/or business budget.

Contained within this small photo is a good example of the vibrant colours and superior contrast you will be encountering with the purchase of this monitor. I highly recommend if you are in graphics, website work etc., you will love this monitor.
