PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH & PICTORIAL
As stated in the previous section, if you are buying a new LCD monitor, you are more than likely in need of a display option that is not as bulky and space intensive. But how does this large monitor allow you to take back more useful desktop space?

The 193P has a very slim profile which measures in at only 9.5 inches from front to back when the monitor is orientated in it normal viewing position. A normal CRT monitor has a depth of close to 20 inches. But what is really amazing is just how thin the display portion is.

With an over all thickness of less than one inch, this has to be one of the thinnest displays I have yet to review on Tweaknews. Some people may think because it is thin, it is flimsy. But when using the 193P, you will quickly note just how solid this product is. There is no flex whatsoever.

Samsung has included their new dual hinge mechanism so the monitor can be easily oriented perfectly for optimal viewing. The mechanism movement is strong, smooth and only requires a minimum effort to change its' orientation.

The dual hinge mechanism allows for several orientations including having the actual screen tilted completely back and pointing straight up towards the ceiling. This allows for perfect viewing if you are in a work environment where you will be looking down at the monitor screen such as in a factory position or in a retail checkout counter. This also allows the monitor to be mounted on the wall if you use the included wall mounting bracket.
