PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Keyboards, like all other peripherals, have evolved quite a bit over the last few years. USB connections are replacing PS/2, multimedia and shortcut keys are becoming standard, and Bluetooth/wireless is a common option as well. A popular company in the enthusiast market, Saitek has created some solidly built, nice looking keyboards, namely the Eclipse and Eclipse II. Today I'll be reviewing their latest creation, the Pro Gamer Command Unit. Basically, it's a smaller scale keyboard designed specifically for FPS and RTS titles with just the right amount of buttons required for gaming. Will it convince me to dump my tried and true 104-key standard keyboard? Let's find out.
