Product Feel
The Rumblepad 2 feels absolutely perfect in your hands
and has just enough weight and rigidity to not feel like a cheap plastic
toy. It reminds me of the days when I used to play my Sony Playstation
one for hours on end. One thing I did like is the textured surface which
allowed for lots of grip even when your hands get a little sweaty.
If you want to swap from the analog controls to the digital,
you can do so through the center left button with the red LED.
All front controls are easy to reach with only the thumbs
and the index finger controls are easy to reach and have the perfect
amount of positive resistance.
Product Vibration
As you can see, the underside is perfectly contoured for
maximum comfort but what really makes this controller a lot of fun to
use is the dual vibration feedback motors contained within the body.
It feels great to be flying your WWII fighter and feel the controller
rattle as you fire your machine guns. It just makes a good game even
better. One thing I would recommend is to lower the vibration effect
a little to say 75-80% for the best effect. At 100%, a rough game scene
can lead to a weird and numb feeling in both hands. Toning is down a
bit will allow it to be a little more comfortable.
But still even with the hands a little numb, I still loved
it.....
