PRODUCT TESTING
Seeing that I'm a Nero Burning Rom(R) user, I'm always skeptical as to
if a change is needed. So, I uninstalled Nero(r), crossed my fingers and
installed RecordNow Max. Just so everything went smoothly, I visited the
Stomp Inc. website and found the latest patch and installed it so that
all bugs, if any, would be fixed and updated. Here is a link to the PATCH
Section of the main corporate site for all of you proud RecordNow Max
owners. Now with everything updated, I fired it up and was greeted by
a real easy-to-use interface. Everything is clear, concise and easy to
follow. Now the one and only fault with this software, that I found, was
the 100% cpu usage if you keep the software idle at the initial wizard
screen. My temp's shot through the roof and is a warning to everyone to
close the wizard or advance into the software suite to stop the CPU usage,
or you will be really stressing those overclocked systems and there temperatures
=).

The additional photos from here on in are provided by the Stomp Inc's
website,
they took some good quality snapshots that I just couldn't duplicate (Ed.
:They are not resized as well).

As with allot of burning software suites, you are greeted by a wizard
which guides you through the basic, everyday used functions in which we
use everyday. Follow the simple to use wizard, and the common chores will
be done effortlessly and flawlessly.

Now here is the interface to the easy to use music CD-creation software
included in the bundle, nice, clean, and efficient.

Data CD's for that all important backup and/or archiving haven't been
this easy. Again everything is automated and fast.

Now one thing that I sometimes found a chore is ripping my favorite CD's
to use in my MP3 player. Some programs out there do NOT allow this and
the ones who do, I found it a little tedious. But Stomp Inc. has incorporated
a nice ripping suite that is really easy to use.
CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS
Well, needless to say, I was really impressed with Stomp Inc's first
real step into the CD Burning ROM software market. The product proved
to be quick, efficient, easy to use and install, and had some nice bundled
features. If anyone out there is looking for a great, more affordable
burning suite than some of the big boys out there, then give this one
a try. I haven't even reinstalled Nero(r) due to the fact that I just
like this suite TOO much and you will to.
