QNAP TS-809 PRO TURBO INTRODUCTION
QNAP products are no stranger here at the Tweaknews labs. We have reviewed a few of their NAS units as well as a network surveillance system, and all of them have proven to be high quality devices that are fast, stable, feature rich, and easy to set up. I have a new sample from them on my desk for testing that is our largest one to review yet. The TS-809 Pro allows you to install up to eight SATA hard drives and configure them in several ways including JBOD and RAID 0, 1, 5, or 6. Hot-swapping, online RAID migration and capacity expansion is supported. Storage is just the tip of the iceberg though.
