PRODUCT FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS
One thing I was pleased to see was the inclusion of instant on-screen and e-mail alerts. Enabling this feature will send a message to the monitoring screen, alerting users. Emails can also be sent to the administrator immediately when a system error or emergency event takes place. Quick notification is a must when dealing with surveillance and QNAP has this area covered.
Don't worry about running out of space to store video. The Network Video Recorder (NVR) will support up to a 1TB drive, and there are USB and eSATA ports for attaching an external disk for additional storage or backup.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
QNAP put together one of the most informative boxes I've ever laid my eyes on. Not only does it list out all the specs and give a quick rundown of the install process, but compatible cameras are listed on the outside of the box as well. This is very helpful to potential buyers.
For simplicity, I'm going break this product down into two parts. First is the Network Video Recorder (NVR). Accessories for it include a power adapter, Ethernet cable, screws, setup CD, and quick install guide. A SATA hard drive is also required but not included.
The next part of the package is the cameras. Two ICS-1013 cameras are included, along with two antennas, two Ethernet cables, two power adapters, a setup CD, a pair of mounting kits, and quick install guide.
