CORPORATE PROFILE

We want to become the pro gamers preferred mouse pad. We strive hard to keep up with the pro gamers increasing demands for optimal accuracy. In order to comply with these demands we are constantly attempting to improve the performance of our products. A task that may seem just like our Steelpad:

"Hard to break - not to get". Nevertheless, improvements can always be taken on to a higher level, which is why we "Steel.. - nothing but accuracy"

The brand "Steel" includes the famous line of mouse pads called "Steelpad" but also accessories for pro gaming. Furthermore the brand has expanded and now Steel Gaming Wear, made of high quality textiles is part of the brand.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the always forgotten land of computing, the land of mouse pads. No one ever gives them much notice, while the video cards, processors and RAM get all the attention. This is because people just don't realize that a good mouse surface can mean life or death in a frag match, or if you have to take a complete step backward in your graphical editing because you slipped on that two pixel frame. The Steelpad QcK+ could possibly allow for one more chance at life in your frag match, or allow you to continue on in your image instead of backtracking.

PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH

The Steelpad arrived in a very thin, but long rectangular box keeping it nice and safe from the dreaded mailman's fumbling. This is a nice packaging concept instead of having a very wide package. Ignoring shipping costs, $19.95 gets you the above.

Once the box is off, you see the above. Though an ingenious packaging concept, I was worried that the mouse pad may not sit completely flat after being rolled up for so long. My worries were proven wrong quickly.

Well this is quite the monster of a pad. Weighing in at 450mm x 400mm (17.7" x 15.7") you will never run out of mousing surface; actually you're more likely to run out of desk real estate, we'll discuss that a little further on.
