PRODUCT PICTORIAL & WALKTHROUGH (cont'd)

For the Turbo memory series, PQI decided to offer the
kit in two colors which were platinum and Mirror Black which resembles
metallic gray or gunmetal. Above you can see the slight color difference
when comparing the platinum to mirror black.

Each memory dimm is cooled via a pure copper heatspreader
complete with a branded steel clips. For such inexpensive memory, I
was really surprised to see such high quality workmanship and even the
pickiest enthusiasts should have no problem inserting it into their
performance rig.

The PCB is the standard green variety seen used by most
memory manufacturers. If a memory manufacturer was looking for a little
bit of an edge, they should try using a different color like red or
orange for something different. Different is good (hint..hint...)
MEMORY OVERCLOCKING POTENTIAL
To test the memory's ability to overclock, I relaxed the timings to
3-8-4-4, locked the divider at the stock setting of 1:1, maxed the memory
voltage at 2.8volts and bumped up front side bus until I was able to
reach the maximum FSB which had no memory problems and could run all
the benchmarking flawlessly with no problems.
Here are the results:

Stock: DDR400

Maximum Memory Overclock : DDR520!!!!! <---- Awesome Overclocking!!
As you can see, a 120Mhz increase in speed is an absolutely outstanding
overclock and I can assure you, the performance difference was seen
throughout the computer's benchmarking. To show you what difference
I personally recorded, the results will be included in the benchmarking
for your comparison.
