The drive arrives tightly packed. The manual states that you should hang onto the box and shipping materials in case you ever have to send the drive in for repairs, and I agree. Packed this well, I wouldn't worry about shipping and (mis)handling.


Inside the box, you'll find a bunch of goodies. There's the obvious drive, which has a beautiful black tray which helps prevent light refraction during burning.



I mean, this may not seem like a big deal to everyone, but it's this type of commitment to excellence which has consistently made Plextor a brand to rely on.
