PRODUCT FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

When reading this review, it is important to keep in mind that the sample sent to me by Penguin United has firmware version 2.0 loaded on it, released in November 2010. I will also be using the newest version of their Eagle Edit software.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The Eagle Eye's packaging lists out some basic info about the product as well as the PC system requirements (a PC is needed for initial setup and any future firmware updates). Expect to pay around $60 US for this converter from online retailers.

In addition to the converter, an instruction manual is provided as well as a CD that contains a setup program appropriately titled "Eagle Edit". The review sample sent to me is a pre-production media release version, hence the handwritten CD-R setup disc.
