PENGUIN UNITED EAGLE EYE INTRODUCTION

FPS games are hugely popular on consoles these days, but once upon a time, the PC was king of first person shooters. Classics such as Doom, Half-Life, Quake and Wolfenstein on the PC paved the way for modern favorites such as Medal of Honor, Team Fortress 2, and Call of Duty - all of which can be played on PC as well as on game consoles. While FPS gaming on the PC is by no means dead, consoles have become fierce competitors to the once dominant PC. There are some definite advantages to consoles - they are less expensive to buy and there are no hardware upgrades or compatibility issues to worry about.
That's all well and good, PC gamers trying out first person shooters on a console are likely to be turned off by the controls. The argument is that the precise movement and accuracy one gets from a keyboard and mouse can't be duplicated by a gamepad. As a longtime player of both PC and console games, I have to agree.
Enter the Eagle Eye Converter from Penguin United. This adapter for the PS3 allows you to use your favorite USB keyboard and mouse as a PS3 controller. It was designed with FPS games in mind and allows for full customization of keys. Furthermore, it also supports firmware updates for future tweaks and enhancements. It all sounds like a dream come true for PC gamers that want to make the transition to a console, but the burning question is "will there be any lag?" Come along with me as I find out.
