The Bolt is a stylish and small flash drive, so it won't get in the way of other devices attached to a USB port right next to it. On one side is the Patriot Memory logo…
…and on the other side is a “Bolt” logo. The cap that covers the USB connector is not attached to the drive, so you'll have to be careful not to misplace it.
A slot located towards the back makes it easy to attach a lanyard or keychain to the drive to help avoid losing it. The USB connector cap can also be snapped on to the back.

PRODUCT INSTALLATION AND TESTING
Upon plugging in the drive you are greeted with not one, but two icons in My Computer. The “Bolt.ex” icon is for setting up security and the Patriot icon is for accessing the contents of the drive.
Opening the “Bolt.ex” icon brings up a screen where you can set up a password to access the drive. Simply click on the button with the key, and type in your new password.
