PRODUCT COMPOSITION & PICTORIAL
For the modest price of US$135, you will receive the following.

As you can see, my particular sample had a rather rough ride coming over from Taiwan. Every hardware manufacturer heed my words, do NOT send a review sample overseas in a shipping bag without putting it in a secondary box for protection. I was completely amazed that the card was still intact. The box was literally squashed and I prepared myself for a crushed board, but due to some miracle, it pulled through.

First off, you will get the normal driver CD (which is usually outdated) and an OEM version of PowerDVD. The OEM version is only setup to handle a 2 channel soundcard so everyone out there with 5.1 surround sound, you will be disappointed.

For a budget card, Palit Daytona certainly didn't get cheap on the cards components. Usually budget cards are mounted on a green PCB with a small ugly VPU cooler but this card is pretty decent looking with its' violet PCB and polished aluminum cooler. Hey, the more you can get for the money, the better.
