So, you can never seem to get your motherboard monitor software running properly. To rid you of this burden, Via included a full monitoring suite to keep track of your voltages, temperatures and fan speeds. It worked pretty slick and saves rebooting and looking in the bios for true temperature readings.

Last, but certainly not least is the included system configuration software. It's always a great thing to have every bit of information about your software version and hardware configuration when trouble shooting some conflicts or instability.

Bonus Hardware

I'm a definite fan of having extra toys to connect to my new motherboard. What does Via kick into the mix?....

Well, for starters, you get a set rounded cables. Everyone knows that rounded cable contribute to better airflow in your case. In my opinion, I would consider rounded cables a stock option with performance motherboards. Getting a couple of 99 cent cables with a $150+ motherboard is a little cheap and rounded cables are not that expensive.

And check this out for an extra! A fully functional memory card/stick reader to help you download your digital photography in a flash (no pun intended). Some people may be a little peaved at the lack of a compact flash port, but for us Fuji digital camera owners with Smartmedia cards, we appreciate it.
