Pretty impressive motherboard specification. But with DDR400, only a certain few DDR modules are certified to work in this motherboard. Here is the list.

With a small list comprised of only a few chip manufacturers, the consumer might get a little nervous buying this motherboard. Remember, this is the recommended ram and does not state that the other DDR400 will not work. In my experience, getting DDR3500 or higher will work anytime on this type of board and you may get a performance boost in the long run with some tweaking. The operative word is MAY.
