PRODUCT INSTALLATION AND TESTING

After removing the top fan, the PSU went in easily and the generous cable lengths allow most motherboard connections to be made outside the case. Standoff holes are clearly marked and, after double-checking that they are in the correct position for the board, the motherboard can be installed.

For such a large case, the Zero seems strangely cramped. There is plenty of room above the motherboard area (where you don't really need it,) but there is little room around the right side. This, coupled with the aforementioned lack of places to hide/route cables make doing a tidy install in the Zero a challenge. Even more aggravating are the short fan wires.

Conversely, installing the drives is quite simple and accomplished without tools. One must simply snap the rails on the drives and slide them into an available bay. You're going to have to get creative when running the power and data cables, but you should have sensed that by now.
