Based on these specs, this product looks a like a good fit for a small business or even a home user in need of an external storage solution. According to Norco there is no limit on the size of hard drives used. Nice!
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
The DS-500 arrived without being packaged in another box, which made me worry about this $450 product being damaged in transit. Everything inside looked to be intact though.
In addition to the RAID tower we have a SATA II cable, power cord, eSATA PCI card, and screws for hard drive mounting. No software or instructions are included which is odd for a product like this, especially one in this price range.
