PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The NH-D14 is a big cooler, and it comes in a very big box. Features and specifications are readily available on the retail box, as well as some nice graphics and, of course, the Noctua owl logo.

Inside the carton, the NH-D14, along with its accompanying accessories, is very well packaged and comes with the fans attached. They will have to be removed and reattached during installation, but at least one can get some idea regarding the correct fan placement.

As I mentioned before, the accessory pack is impressive, with mounting solutions for both AMD and Intel platforms, U.L.N.A. (Ultra Low Noise Adapters,) thermal paste, and even a metal case badge and screwdriver. The user's guide comes in a nice little folder and the mounting parts are segregated into separate bags according to their use. This can save a few headaches during installation and is a welcome feature.
