NANOXIA SILENT CASE FANS INTRODUCTION
Fans, humble yet essential to the modern PC. Over the years these little devices have evolved significantly yet essentially remained the same. Technology has allowed for higher throughput and lower noise but at the end of the day they do the same thing they did ten years ago. One would think that with the cooling requirements of modern PCs that cases would come equipped with all the fans you should need but, in all but the highest priced and best quality cases, a single or dual fan setup is still the norm. That leaves most system builders needing a few extra fans to boost the airflow enough to keep their systems cool. The other reason to purchase fans is silent cooling, more and more builders and enthusiasts are pursuing this elusive goal today.
Today we are going to be taking at some products from a newcomer to the PC cooling world. Nanoxia has opted to jump into the cooling world with a line of case fans aimed squarely at the whole market. The fans are claimed to be rugged enough for industrial applications whilst stylish enough to be attractive in a windowed case. With the inclusion of a fan controller in each package they have ensured that the fans should suit the needs of almost any system builder. Lets have a look and see how their initial foray into the cooling world performs. We will be looking at the whole product line today consisting of the FX80 – 1600, 2200 and 3000; the FX90 – 1400 and 2200 and lastly the FX12 – 1250 and 2000.
