PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Doesn't matter what type of computer user you are, you
have become familiar with this little mandatory input device.

As everyone knows, the mouse is needed for any operating
system including Windows, Apple OS, Linux etc.

When ball mice were introduced to mainstream computing,
it was usually used in conjunction with a mousepad with a fabric covering
to allow for better ball traction so it could travel accurately. This
worked rather well until random reports came in about people going fits
of rage slamming their mice constantly to get the damn dirty mouse ball
to stop sticking. Everyone has been there, done that and are thankful
that those days are over.
In marched the new optical mouse pads with no moving parts
and the ability to work on a variety of surfaces. Mousepad sales dwindled
seeing a desk surface was just as good of a surface as any mousepad.
With everyday mousing, fine accuracy is not a huge concern. If you can
get the cursor over an icon, you are good to go.
But, to the gamer, accuracy is everything. What a gamer
needs is a mousing surface with less mouse drag for smooth movements
and pinpoint targeting. How many times have you missed that all important
headshot because your mouse stuck for a second and then let go causing
your online victim to get away? Frustrating isn't it.
Today I have a couple examples of what a gaming mousing
surface looks like and what specific features they bring to the table.
One feature that is common with each is that they are both made of glass
and extremely durable.
But, that's for the next section...
