PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES
The Sonamu has a relatively small profile and is designed to be used in the upright, tower configuration, rather that the flat desktop arrangement we often see in cases of this size. It comes complete with a custom power supply with a maximum rating of 300W (more on this later,) and will house Mini-ITX boards as well as Micro ATX. A single 60mm fan pulls cooling duty, but the user can add a second fan if desired.
The Sonamu features three energy saving modes through the custom PSU and various switches provided with the chassis to reduce energy costs and the user's CO2 footprint. How much can be saved? Well, it depends a lot on the chosen hardware, computing habits and the user's diligence, but the savings over the lifetime of the system could be significant.
The sturdy carton is shiny and colorful, but doesn't give a potential consumer much useful information about what's inside the box. Opening the top flaps reveals a detailed depiction of a pine tree, which is Sonamu in Korean.
The case comes wrapped in a heavy plastic bag and sandwiched between soft foam blocks to protect it during shipping, and Moneual further protects the shiny front panel with an extra sheet of plastic film. A zip-bag contains some of the accessories.
