PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH & PICTORIAL
As you can see from this shot, CasEdge has taken extra precautions to protect the case. Both the side panel and the front are covered by a plastic film.
Once you peel that plastic off, you're left with this beautiful shine! CasEdge could not have picked a better name for this color (Blood Red). The black on the front of the case is extremely shiny, as is the red. There is a thick laminate to give it a high gloss.
On either side, horns go up and between them you'll find four 5.25" bays and two 3.5" bays. Just below the horns, you see the frosted 'eyes' that light up when the unit is powered.
The case weighs in at a hefty 22 lbs. She's all steel and it shows. You'll be working out those biceps if you start lugging this sucker to LAN parties. But damn, it'll be worth it.
The front grill (mouth) slides up to reveal 4 USB ports (count 'em… 4… excellent for those like me who don't leave all of their USB devices plugged in all the time... very easy and convenient to switch them at the front), 2 IEEE 1394 Firewire ports, as well as a mic and an audio out jack. The sliding grill is nice as a lot of people prefer to hide this ports if they are not in use.
The right panel is nicely designed. Instead of just having a plain black panel, they styled it up to match the left panel which has the window
And the left panel has a clear acrylic window. I like the cutting of this window. It isn't just a plain square… instead, it's fluid and different than the rest. You get to see the bottom of the motherboard, while the upper portion (including any messes of wires) are pleasantly hidden.
