Closer Look and Initial Thoughts:
This little wonder first entered my testing lab as a surprising little addition to a package from Vantec. I was kind of interested to as what was contained within this little box.

Upon picking up the box I realized the heft of this little guy. For such as small box, this bugger weighed quite a bit, so I popped it open and pulled it out.

Hehe, cute little guy. I have been working with a lot of coolers for the last while and was kind of refreshed to see something a little different than a big beast with a screaming delta. Seeing that this a server rackmount cooler I still wondered how it would perform in my system. Curiosity got the better of me and that is why you are reading this review today.

With closer inspection, I found that this cooler is one piece of copper, no welded fins or rough finish, just solid copper. The finish was quite impressive. Everything smooth and polished and not a cutmark or blemish to be seen.

As you can see, this cooler has an amazing finish on the bottom. Perfect polish and not one imperfection. (Also I would like to draw your attention to my favorite beer.) This finish will make up a little for the coolers lack of size. A better polishing (lapping) on a cooler's bottom will always help in increasing the efficiency of heat transfer from the CPU core slug to the heatsink.
The package also included a container of thermalpaste which for once wasn't just a package of goop.

NOW, LETS SEE IF THIS LITTLE GUY WILL PERFORM!!
