PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The sidewinder is a sleek looking mouse with a perfectly symmetrical design; its two-tone silver and black plastic looks really quiet nice and it makes a change from the single colour most companies use. You can also see the SideWinder logo on top in plain view, relatively subtle but a good touch none the less.

The Microsoft logo is a prominent feature of the X3 and right above it you can see one of the small side buttons that can be used for going backwards and forwards while you browse the web or can be bound in game to any number of things from grenades to crouch or maybe even a macro if your fond of MMORPG games such as World of Warcraft.

On the top of the mouse you can find 3 buttons that allow you to change the DPI settings on-the-fly; starting from the button closest to the scroll wheel and working up the DPI is adjustable from 400, 800 and 2000 respectably. Potential users of this mouse will also be left pleased with its rubber-coated scroll wheel that give excellent feedback to your finger and the non-slip grooved design is a sure winner over a smooth finish favored by the likes of Logitech etc.

Flipping the mouse over reveals two large oval pads with a smooth finish that will prevent the mouse from sticking to the table or your chosen gaming surface. One thing to note about this mouse is that is does not include replacement pads so when these wear out you will need to buy your own pads from an e-tailer..not all too bad but worth considering either way.
