PRODUCT COMPOSITION (cont'd)

Generous use of plastic film protects the shiny bits and after it's all removed…

…we get our first good look at the Amoris. The chassis has glossy black plastic doors with angular panels that don't photograph all that well, but the look is striking and, as we'll see a bit later, the doors open from the center using an innovative hinge mechanism.

A quick installation guide is affixed to the bottom of the case illustrating the tool-free features that are covered in the very complete manual. There isn't much hardware in the bag thanks to the above-mentioned features, but Maxcube has included some expansion slot covers to mitigate one of my pet peeves. More on this later. For now, let's have a closer look at the Amoris 6010.
PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The front bezel treatment is very unique with its brushed aluminum panels and diamond-cut edges down the center. The right side panel is unremarkable with a semi-gloss black finish and no features.

The front panel I/O panel is on the top of the bezel and features four USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port and the customary audio jacks, flanked by the power (left) and reset buttons. This design will be more convenient for users who prefer to install the computer on the floor rather than on the desktop.
