The Entertainer is the latest sound card from MADDOG. The card uses the VIA Envy 24 chipset, which allows it to produce a 24 bit digital signal using the included cable.

The Entertainer is compatible with the next generation of surround sound technology; giving users the awesome experience of 7.1 surround sound. For those of you who are new to the 7.1 concept, up to eight speakers can be plugged into this baby and the soundcard would support fully independent audio for each speaker. This card comes with a lifetime guarantee, and claims to be better value than the SoundBlaster Audigy and Audigy 2 (see the front of the box).
