PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH
Let's start off with the subwoofer, shall we?

The ported enclosure appears to be made of 3/8” MDF and stands 11.25” tall. The front port has a black plastic escutcheon with the Logitech logo printed on it.

With the enclosure on its side, we can see the 5.25” bottom-firing subwoofer and the four large feet that keep the speaker from being damaged. There is no other protection for the speaker, so users should take care when moving the enclosure.

The rear of the box holds the remote and power cords as well as all the connectors for the speakers. The connectors are clearly labeled as well as color-coded for convenience.

The remaining five speakers in the set have two-2” drivers each and have color-coded jacks to facilitate a quick, easy installation. The speaker cables measure roughly 14-feet for the rear speakers, 5-feet for the fronts, 7-feet for the center and the audio input cable is 6-feet long. This is plenty of cable for the vast majority of computer users. Logitech has also thoughtfully included a patch cable, allowing the X-540 system to accept 2-channel audio from a video game console or other device. The aforementioned Matrix feature can then be enabled to simulate 5.1 audio.
