PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Oh the computer mouse, often taken advantage of, never respected and a mandatory requirement for any computer user. Computer mice are much like underwear (bare with me here), as in everyone likes different styles, has different requirements and would like something that will give them years of service in the worst of conditions. *ahem*

Now for the average joe computer user, any $5.99 optical mouse in the bargain bin will do just fine seeing they just aren't too picky. On the other side of the user spectrum you have the elite user (yes, you and me) which needs their mouse to perform flawlessly and accurate while in the Windows/Linux environment, but also do the same thing while gaming. Gamers tend to not like to be tethered to a cord and would like the freedom of a wireless which I understand completely. There is nothing more frustrating than to be lining someone up for a headshot when the cord likes to all of a sudden jam behind something on the desk causing you to lose you aim and your cool.

Another thing a high end user needs is precision. This is helpful in the 2D environment t like when undertaking a AutoCAD drawing and you need precision to create drawings without having to retrace your work to get things aligned up properly. This is the same for gamers. Gamers need precision to allow them to perform more difficult maneuvers and to shoot with greater accuracy.

If these are two things that are the base needs for your next mouse purchase, I believe the G7 will be an excellent option to check out. Not only is it wireless and has laser precision, it also has replace on-the-fly batteries along with some other features which you will see in the upcoming pages.

Stay tuned...

Specifications

Features:

2000 dpi laser engine

An ultra-high resolution engine churns images at an astounding 6.4 megapixels per second. A massive (30-pixel by 30-pixel) sensor array and precision laser technology allow the G7 to deliver best-in-class performance and tracking.

In-game sensitivity switching

The G7 provides instant access to three sensitivity levels— 400 dpi, 800 dpi, and 2000 dpi—before driver installation. Shift from pixel-precise targeting to fast-twitch maneuvers, without pausing the action.

Full-speed USB + 2.4 GHz cordless

4X faster than conventional mice, USB delivers blazing speed and instant acceleration. With a 5X** stronger connection, 2.4 GHz wireless "bulletproofs" the G7 against lags and interference dropouts.

Two fast-swap ultra-light Li-ion packs

Recharging doesn´t have to mean pausing the action. In the default gaming power mode, the battery life will last up to two and a half days for average game play.

Battery-level indicator

The five-level gauge tells you exactly how much game time remains.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) gaming feet

Forget sticky workarounds—the G7's durable polytetrafluoroethylene feet give the ultra-smooth glide you want in a gaming mouse.
