PRODUCT PERFORMANCE & IMPRESSIONS
As far as looks go, this thing may be more attractive then you are. It will not take away from the unforgiving looks of your gaming machine at a LAN and don't be surprised if your co-workers get jealous when you sport this beauty in your cubical at work. It might just make work that much more interesting. But seriously, the aesthetics are clean, easy on the eyes and will easy be incorporated into any desktop.
After installing this mouse, I could easily tell it was rock solid . You can tell it's a quality mouse that will last you quite some time. Now that you don't have to worry about bashing it against your desk every time it doesn't respond. The sensitivity of this mouse is astronomical, and I say that using 950 as my maximum DPI setting. The full 2000 is just too sensitive for my taste. To this date, this is the best mouse I have had the pleasure of owning.
Logitech has used the same overall design for the G5 as their MX line, and why shouldn't they? It's downright comfortable. My hands are for the most part bigger than most and they fit this mouse well. There is little or no reach for buttons. I would like to see a bigger indent into the mouse for my ring finger though, as in some moments I am finding it hard to get it comfortable. With the new weight cartridge included, you never have to worry about your mouse being too light or too heavy.
