Basically, what we've got here is a relatively compact and lightweight cooler featuring four 6mm heatpipes, a 120mm PWM fan and wide socket and CPU support. Kingwin has opted to use a direct touch design they call “HTC” in an attempt to enhance heat transfer from the CPU to the heatpipes. We'll see how well it works a bit later.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The box is attractive and informative and also shows off the fan and cooler to good effect. Inside…

…the HSF is accompanied by a user's manual and two sets of push-pin mounting clips for Intel boards. The XT-1264 comes with the AMD clips pre-installed that interface with the OEM retention bracket for easy installation. Kingwin also includes a small amount of thermal paste and a paddle to spread it with.
