The enclosure is constructed of sturdy aluminum and has an attractive, slim design. The overall look is very clean and has a solid, well made feel to it. There are no fans on this unit; cooling is done passively.

A large circular LED lights up blue when power is supplied to the enclosure, and it will blink during drive activity.

The bottom of the enclosure features four small rubber pads to help keep the unit in place while it's on a desk. They manage to get the job done just fine.

At the back of the unit you'll find a USB 3.0 port, power switch, and a port for the power adapter. There are also two screws that must be removed to access the inside.
