PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The finish on the Mach 1 is a gunmetal gray color that's not shiny but not flat either. I like the finish a lot and it appears to be very durable. Mr. Bones would like to see a more reflective finish, but only because he's very vain.
A mesh backplane will allow plenty of ventilation for the 150mm, blue LED cooling fan and, with all switching done internally, the only external devices on the PSU are the wall cord connector and on/off switch.

At the other end, we can see where this Kingwin Mach 1 really stands out from the crowd. First of all, there's the attractive mesh sleeving on the native cables (20+4-pin ATX connector and separate 4-pin and 8-pin +12V Aux connectors) that extends all the way into the case and is securely attached to the respective cabling. Gold plated connectors are standard on both the native and modular cables.

Blue silicone caps protect the modular connectors and I like this design very much. The military/industrial look of the connectors is nice, but also very functional. The manual describes the proper configuration, but Kingwin also provides this information on the PSU case. The blue plastic rings surrounding the connectors light up when a corresponding cable is plugged in.
